BBA allows the manufacturers to obtain, through the activities performed by IG, the UKCA certification for the products for which

This means that if the factory production control (FPC) has been alreday assessed by IG in accordance with VVCP 1 or 2+, it will not be necessary to carry out additional audits for obtaining the UKCA certification.
In case of VVCP 1 it will not even be necessary to perform additional testing.
