Instrumentation park management

Istituto Giordano provides management systems of the entire instrumentations park in use to the applicant company, in order to offer a complete service. This service is structured by the following actions:

• Identification of sensitive measurement processes and instrumentations that have to be subjected to calibration tests or periodic check;
• Determination of the measure uncertainty and maximum errors allowed for each measure instrument subjected to calibration;
• ACCREDIA calibration of reference samples at disposal of the company or the laboratory, directly concerning the dimension in which Istituto Giordano is accredited,
• Calibration with traceability to ACCREDIA samples of all the measure instruments that are secondary or/and of the process. For every dimension and type of instruments in which the calibration is applied, it will be directly realized in the use place in agreement with the productive needs of the company;
• Acceptability check of instruments subjected to calibration based on specific standards and noticed metrological characteristics.

• Supply of measure instruments : We can provide sample or work instruments for every dimension of interest, complete of ACCREDIA Calibration Certificate or other recognized bodies in the EA field for every dimension of interest.
• Design of Calibration Procedure and formation: We can offer Calibration Procedure for every type of need connected to the calibration of secondary instruments, for every type of instrument that is part of dimension of competence. Moreover, Istituto Giordano organizes formation courses for the technical personnel that is operator of the measure instrumentation calibration and within the company to which it belongs, with the release of a frequency certificate.
