Main activities:

Laboratory testing and on-site investigations for the structural civil engineering and road geotechnics sector.

All activities within the division are aimed at the qualification and determination of the mechanical properties of construction materials and products:

  • Laboratory testing of building materials (compression tests): concrete, soils and rocks, bricks, masonry, mortars and plasters, jet grouting;
  • Testing of construction products such as drainage grids and channels, lintels, road curbs, stone pavements, septic tanks, tile adhesives;
  • Tensile tests on steel, metal structures, and carbon fiber composite products (FRC, FRCM);
  • Resistance tests for adhesion, freeze-thaw cycles, thermal shock, wear, and flooring slip resistance;
  • Load tests, non-destructive tests, monitoring, and investigations on existing structures and buildings.
