At the Bellaria (RN) facility, a new test chamber is now operational, designed to subject products to tests that simulate their operation at altitudes of up to 5,000 meters.
Entirely designed and built by our Special Equipment Division technicians, the chamber allows for the reduction of internal pressure to match the levels experienced at high altitudes. It can perform pressure cycles between ambient pressure and -400 mbar.
The system is also equipped with electrical and network connections, enabling the verification of electronic equipment functionality from outside the test environment.
The primary sectors for which testing can be conducted include:
Examples of tests conducted:
Additionally, the test chamber can be housed inside our XXL climate chamber, also internally designed and built. This chamber is intended for conditioning and thermal stress tests related to climate variations. This setup allows for simultaneous simulation of both pressure and temperature conditions that may occur at high altitudes.
